You’re wrong.Whatever mythical sales figures you’re looking at, they’re not correct, nor do they show the whole picture.Believe me, I’ve got access to everything, the whole picture. And there are all kinds of people out there, both brand new readers and lapsed readers who have returned, whom the films have brought into our world.It does no good to be threatened by these people. You were a new reader at one point yourself.So why not turn this energy towards something more productive, rather than yelling at all of the kids to stay off your lawn? It doesn’t help, it adds nothing to the dialogue. It’s just selfish and short-sighted and kind of stupid.Also, it’s idiotic to quote sales figures that you don’t actually have to the person that does actually have them. You’re by far not the only person that does this, but that doesn’t make it any smarter. But you’re never going to convince anybody with that approach, because you’re arguing with smoke whereas I have the actual facts.
