Is it possible to not be a knee jerk reactionary bat shit crazy fan and still be a bit sad and worried about the result of Secret Wars? I know there are a ton of those guys out there but some of us are just nervous we're losing something. I don't mind people saying "wait and see" but an underlining feeling I've picked up on from a few articles today seems to be "get ready for unwarranted nerd belly aching". Are there really that many nuts out there?

Not nuts, but certainly fans who are nervous and cynical and worried about what the future will bring and how it will affect their enjoyment of these characters and their perceived investment in past stories. So I think it’s a natural enough response to have some anxiety about this.

The ones that are the funniest are the ones who write things like “I haven’t read a Marvel title in a decade since they all stink, and now I’m never going to read another one again with what you’re doing!”

there's very little opportunity to get out, too. the only handholds are the ones on the left. Sendai gets a lot of rain, almost as much as Vancouver, so imagine being mangled from sliding into concrete and having to climb a sheer, slippery slope to freedom. I think I would just make a home down there and give up on life
